2018's Ten Drunkest States in America

Only about 7% of the people in North Dakota have Irish ancestry.  But you can expect that 7% to RIP IT UP this St. Patty's Day.

A new study looked at how many people in each state drink to get DRUNK.  And according to the results, North Dakota is the DRUNKEST state in America.  Congratulations?

24.7% of people in North Dakota drink in excess, compared to the national average of 18%.  And Fargo is North Dakota's drunkest city.

The Upper Midwest basically has this whole drunk thing on lock.  Alaska and Hawaii also made the top ten.  But other than that, it's pretty much ALL Upper Midwest.

The ten drunkest states are North Dakota . . . Wisconsin . . . Alaska . . . Montana . . . Illinois . . . Minnesota . . . Iowa . . . Hawaii . . . Nebraska . . . and Michigan.

The state with the LOWEST percentage of drunk people is Tennessee, where only 11% of adults drink in excess.  The rest of the five least-drunk states are West Virginia . . . Utah . . . Alabama . . . and Mississippi.
