The Average Binge Drinker Put Down 470 Drinks While Trying to Get Hammered

The official definition of a binge drinker is someone who puts down at least four or five drinks in one session.  In other words:  Someone who regularly drinks specifically to GET DRUNK.

The CDC just released some new stats on binge drinkers.  And last year, they put down an average of 470 total drinks to try to get drunk.  If they stuck to the four or five drinks rule, that means they got drunk between 94 and 118 times, or more than twice a week.

Oh . . . and more than half of them were 35 or older.
